    Sorry Hard to read. Didn't know the spaces would be deleted.

    That's fairly unreadable, though I know you tried to tab them out. I'd suggest trying the {code} function to preserve spacing

    Code:
    Texans:                            Titans:                    Colts:

    Jets             L                @Pitts       L               Jacksonville     W
    @Tenn         W                Houston    L               @Miami           L
    Jacksonville   W               @NYJ        L               @Arizona        L
    Oakland        W               @Jackson  W              Seattle           L
    @Arizona      L                 Indianap   W              @Tenn           L

    Arizona, Cincinnati and SF are all swing games...

    The Cards look to be up and down depending on how Warren plays, the Bungals look to have improved this season so that game should be more challenging then expected and SF looks to be Stout on D while Run Run Run with Gore on "O". If we take all three its on!!!

    Don't see the Colts losing to all three of Miami, Zona, and Seattle. Especially not Seattle.

    Seeing what the Jets did to the Pats, I'm wondering if I should still be mad about Week 1...

    Remember in 2004 when we all penciled in the first game against the Chargers as an easy win? After all, they had the worst record in the league the previous year and we were an up and coming franchise. They beat us 27-20 and we were all so pissed off. They went on to win 11 more games that year. Hmm...

    this is funny, yesterday I actually remembered having an argument after this game on this site about brees vs carr. brees who had been in the league and successful, I was arguing that brees was better (which was debatle back then)

    any way, you would think after these first two games that people would stop trying to find the wins and losses. speaking of the Pats, they should be 0-2 if that guy doesn't fumble

    How I view the schedule, adjusting for the first 2 weeks of the season:
    In the bank: 1-1 (Jets, @TEN)
    Split the 6 division games: 3-4 (5 remaining)
    Take care of business at home: 5-4 (Raiders, 49ers)
    Steal one of the home toughies: 6-5 (Seahawks, Pats)
    Take care of business on the road: 7-5 (@STL)
    Split the rest of the road games: 9-7 (@ARI, @CIN, @BUF, @MIA)
    --> 9-7

    Steal a game we aren't supposed to win, and that's 10-6 and a likely wildcard spot.
    Lose focus or allow the defensive flaws to bite us in the rear and it's very easy to end up with a losing record.
    Schaub misses 4 or more games? We end up with 10+ losses.

    It's terrific we got a win that was an expected loss. But we can't ignore an extremely troubled running game, and a defense that can't help but surrender multiple 50+ yd TDs each week.

    True. The Jets look for real. Ferocious defense! Even still, we could have played much better. Hopefully it was a painful lesson.

    As for the predictions, I don't see the Colts going 7-9 either, but if they did go 9-7 and the Titans go 9-7 I would love for us to go 10-6. Very difficult to predict this early in the season.

    This is what I love about sports fans. Last week the Texans were done and now they're division champs.

    2 wins in a row and were a dynasty. That was a good win though.

    not worried about the run game yet, look what the Titans did to the Steelers, and the Jets look like they may be the best defense in football.

    I am worried about Slaton's weight, more than fumbling. He's obviously a step slower.

    I argued with a lot of people about David freaking Carr.

    In case I never personally ate my crow: you were right my brother.

    well I've been wrong on a lot others. I never really wanted to see carr fail, i just hated that they tried to make him the face of the franchise from day one. that has to be earned. that's why I sometimes doubt mcnair, he was more about the branding than building a team. he might have thought they went hand in hand, but you have to build a team and then whatever it becomes as a brand is evolution.

    other than drafting him, what did they actively do to make him the face of the franchise? and more importantly, how did it (negatively) impact the team? is this about the decision to extend him in 2006, because if so.....

    if that's the case, he would have drafted reggie bush or vince young, and if young, he never would have extended the first face of the franchise.
