is that the real line? I haven't looked...but after a little preseason, i'd go for some over action on that..
I'm sticking to my prediction of 7-9. I think we'll flirt with .500 all year, but I'm just being realistic. I'll be happy with 7-9 a year after 2-14. Now, in 2007/2008....11-5 and the first playoff game (win) in franchise history.
The secondary could be a problem, especially with the news about Faggins. I'm worried about that too. But...hopefully a better pass rush will take some pressure off of them. Remember, we haven't had anything even resembling a pass rush since....well, EVER.
I think anywhere from 6-10 to 8-8. They will be a much improved team. Then again, they can only go up from here.
Upgrading the talent in our offensive and defensive lines was the key to our offseason as far as I'm concerned. The offense will be much improved with the line and Moulds taking pressure off Carr and Johnson. The running back by committee will most likely work well as it has in the past in Denver. On defense, again the line will be much stronger....and the switch to the 4 -3 should really help the Texans. I'm gonna say.....8 - 8
a horrible season would equate 5, a great season would equate 8. 6 or better is my bet. If I were a better...
that's how i feel. and i don't agree with the notion that 5 wins means we had a horrible season...at least not in the context of the state of the franchise and what they just went through. in many ways, we're starting over entirely.
I am rooting for 19 wins! I think anything less than 7 will be disapointing. I see us (if everything goes right) being this years version of the 2005 Miami team 8-8 or 9-7 with everyone talking about us going into 07!
3-13. 28th rank offense. 26th rank defense in 06. I'll get excited once we draft Adrian Peterson next season but knowing the Texans they will pass up on him too.
