Seems like this offseason is going backwards. What happen to the safety from Atlanta that was coming here?

I want to echo this question. Is stevens being signed as a backup? I thought we really had a good shot a Keon Carpenter.

good god, settle down, everyone -- they'll take 90-something players to camp in july; at this point and time, they have somewhere between 40 and 50 on their roster -- the need quanity as much asthey need quality.

they cut and resigned stevens, meaning they reduced his cap figure, which really wasn't much to begin with. it's not a big deal, just part of the big picture.
