He was playing in pain, good call. Texans are a mess...6-10 is VERY realistic.

Should we sit Andre? The guy is taking pain killing shots at halftime just to play.

I don't think I'm ever going to forgive them for turning away Schobel in August. Mario was clearly limited to about 70% for most of the year.

I'm not expecting better than 7-9, and I agree that this could get as ugly as 6-10.

If they hit 6 wins and the season ends with a home boo fest lose to Jacksonville, I think odds are very high that the entire coaching staff plus Rick Smith are fired the next day.

Higher pick and Kubiak might be toast.

    Lmao ^^

I guess its better this way.. If we go 6-10 or 7-9 then Kubiak will HAVE to be gone.

Good. I want Mario to be fresh and rested for his first meeting with Coach Cowher.

and that is REALLY saying something.

to think that in an uncapped year we could've kept or picked up DESPERATELY needed defensive help like schoebel, dunta, cromartie and instead the texans brain trust decided to do NOTHING.

get these bums the f*** out of here already.

FINALLY they shut Mario down! He was noticeably hampered more so last game then ever, no reason in continuing to play him...another reason why I wasn't too upset about our most recent let down. Had we of won, giving us still the mathematical (but not realistic) chance at the playoffs, they probably would have rode these guys to the bitter end. Andre needs to be next, followed by Kubes

Bob McNair: "Considering the defensive injuries we played with throughout the year I think this year is hard to call a failure. We wish things could have gone better, but all in all I think it was a small step beck, not a catastrophe."
