Question....my tickets came with permits for 2 lots....red and blue...which is a better (i.e. easier to get in and out of before and after) lot to park in? I'd probably be coming to the game from Braeswood Rd.

    Thanks!

I'll buy your blue pass for 5 bucks. :)

Blue is the parking lot on the Sout side (Bud Plaza side.)
Red is the parking lot on the North side (opposite Bud Plaza)

If you plan on doing any tailgating at all, ever, choose the blue lot. Great fans, great pre-game.

You're probably going to sit in traffic regardless.

That's why you hang out & tailgate for a while after the game too!

Unless, of course, you let Indy fans get to you. Then you whine like a baby and make everyone go to the bar. :D

It's not. I was just a whiny b**** because I let some Indy fans get to me last year. At least I didn't make them take me home. :D

-First of All, they are on two opposite sides of the Stadium. Which is closer to your seats???

-Secondly, If you are going to tailgate at all, it is true, the Blue Lot is better.
However, If you do not plan to tailgate, the Blue Lot gets crowded a lot quicker (because of tailgaters) and you will end up parking in the back most likely and hanving a long walk. Therefore if you are not going to tailgate the Red Lot MAY be better for you, depending on where your seats are located. If your seats are located near the Blue Lot end, you may not want to park in the Red Lot. Sure you will save some time parking but not walking.

Also if you use the Blue Lot, you will most likely be entering through Budweiser Plaza. The Main Entrance, its usually crowded with people, live music, the Texans Store, Cheerleaders are sometimes out there, 610 Sports Booth, etc. If you just want to get to your seats asap, this may not be for you.

Also be sure to check the back of the parking ticket. They close down certain streets for game day. It may affect your route.

Just to add my .02, the Blue lot is the place to be. I am not sure how big of a group you go with, but I go with like 20 people and we get there at around 8:30, set-up and party down. We are in the Yellow lot. We have walked over to the Blue lot a few times, and it seems that place is a madhouse of fun. I prefer the yellow lot though because you get to park on grass, not concrete. Makes for a more 'picnic' feel, IMO.
