Didn't see an official thread for this weeks game.

    My takes on it is,

    1. stop the rushing attack on D. taylor 16 rushs 61 yrds, jones drew 7 rushs 16 yrds.
    2. Make Jags Beat us passing the ball.
    3. Shaub completes some freakin passes with accuracy 26-32 287 yrds 2 tds 0000.00000 interception
    4. Steve slaton to the rescue!! 110 yards my pred.
    5. Demeco is a man beast 28 tacles in 2 game so far.
    6. Mario give me 2 more big boy!!
    7-100 NO TURNOVERS.

Theres my take on it all

I think you mean Fred Taylor.

Jones Drew will have a field day against us like always. Slaton will rush for over a 100 again. Our offense will have to click on all cylinders to win this game. I think this will be a high scoring game, and we win by a Kris Brown FG.

    31-28.

    IMO
    This is the SCHUAB game
he has to look good. . .
Texans cannot wait until they find a total creampuff
and then say . . .SEE SEE HE *IS* GOOD

The League is not Filled with Creampuffs
He has to have some GOOD SHOWINGS against some GOOD TEAMS

I honestly hope he does have a good game, the fact of the matter is, if he doesn't we will see sage. Kubiac will not squander the season, because of schaubs inability to find success

    IMO:

-We are solid plugging up the middle but have got to get better at containing the flats: our corners and OLBs have been pathetic in this regard, and MoJo ate us alive on bounce outs and stretch plays last year. Teams in general seem to have learned how soft we are there. Ryans has to make far too many plays at the sidelines.

-Each team should know that the opposing QB is vulnerable to getting shaken if stirred. Both sides need to protect theirs and pressure the others. We need to win that battle - Schaub is a great pocket passer when he's relaxed and horrendous when anxiety creeps in after a couple of hits. Garrard can be pressured into stupid throws.

-Our D-line needs to be whipped into a frenzy to attack their injury-depleted O-Line. NO EXCUSES for us not to terrorize them. If we don't, it's because we tried to take the game lightly.

    -Watch out for Mathis.

-Fake a 4th down conversion either to draw the D offsides or to pooch kick. Kubiak has attempted more 4th down conversions than almost anyone in our first 2 games, so they should be expecting the same. Catch them off guard.

24 points and we get our first W. We lose if we're getting nothing but FGs.

The Jags don't have an O-line. It's time for all of our #1 picks on the D-line to dominate the line of scrimmage.

    Texans 43
    Jaguars 10

Btw, Dick Enberg and Randy Cross will call the game for CBS.

We are talking about the team who put away the colts last week right? Colts aren't as good as they used to be but c'mon give the jags more credit than that

I was watching some "highlights" of the t*** game last night. In his defense, AJ dropped two SURE TD's on two separate drives. Both of them would have really helped Shaub's stats, along with the outcome of the game.

Thankgod, I no longer have to click in the Titans thread. We normally play really well against the Jags. Really sucks we haven't had a home game yet, Stupid Ike.

Slayton will run for 100+ again, and Schaub will finally throw the ball down the field, and AJ will be able to hold onto the the ball.

    27-17 Texans

This will be a gut-check performance for the Texans. Schaub especially should be feeling the heat. Based on Kubiak's comments after the last game I wouldn't be surprised if he gives Sage a shot should Schaub continue to struggle in the first half of this one. Kub knows how bad they need a win.

I don't know why, but I'm thinking we'll win this one. Last year in Jacksonville, we almost took a double digit lead before Andre Davis fumbled at the goal line...from there they came unraveled. If they can avoid crumbling after one mistake they can make a game out of this. Especially if the defense plays like they did in the second half last week.

That's his schtick. He's got 24 posts in that thread basically doing the same thing - trying to piss off Texan fans.

No one is paying attention to him, so he thinks he has to try harder, I guess.

Are there any tropical storms approaching Florida that could make landfall by Sunday?

Hopefully I can post in here without derailing the thread.....from what I have seen in years past, the Texans always play the jaguars well and if the texans want to salvage any hopes for this season, they have to win this week.

Steve Slaton looked good against the Titans last week, will be interesting to see if he can duplicate it against the jaguars. The Jags offensive line is missing 2 or 3 starters so if the Texans defense can get to Garrard they can control the game. I think it will be an ugly defensive battle, and the game ends on a game winning fg, not sure which team though.

From what I hear, the jaguars/texans hate each other a lot (jaguars are the dirtiest team according to one player ive talked to), and I wouldnt be surprised if there is a scuffle or two.
