Maybe I’m stuck in the 90’s but that didn’t look that bad to me. He actually hit the ball and forced a turnover.
Nailed it. There have been many changes to "acceptable" since we were kids. Of course I thought we were turning into a powder puff league in the 90s compares to the 60s.
The ball was out before he made contact. He led with the crown of his helmet and launched himself into the players jaw...pretty textbook
Wanted him as soon as Steelers dropped him and nothing. Why now? Diesel injured? Guess, we'll find out Wednesday. Stay tuned.
You can literally see how much compression is placed on his head, neck, and spine when he launches and makes contact with Dobbs. This is exactly how you end up paralyzed. Kareem needs to be suspended not only for others' safety, but his own too. This is an egregious tackle, and it's absolutely baffling that it wasn't called on the field.
Why not take a chance on him? Did he just fall of or what I haven’t really followed him but I remember him being a beast at one point.
I see the $ saving cost from the Colts perspective, but you can't give up on that talent even with his injuries (unless they're severe). They're idiots. If you bring him on, are you going to bench Cashman? He's been rated high by PFF and has been playing great at weakside. I don't think Leonard can play MLB and Christian Harris at strongside has been playing out of his mind. Also, you can put Leonard as depth. The man is a starter. So I doubt we're going to do anything....
Texan! Texan! Teeeeeexan!!!! then I saw the money owed. ouch. Why is money still owed if they release him. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind adding another Diesel.
There are generally ways to mitigate risk when a player is released by another team. It usually involves a lower annual cost in exchange for contract length and guarantees. I know I just read of such an extension in the last 24 hours elsewhere.
