Texans @ Chargers

Well, I will be cheering for the Texans at the bar, but dont have much hope.

San Diego is my Survivor League pick.

 

This is going to be a very hard game on the Texans. It's in San Diego and they have a lot to play for. Not only to regain their upper-tier status, but now they will have that whole "playing for a way to reunite a city in turmoil" edge on their side. I don't think this going to be pretty, especially with the way Texans have been defending the run, or not defending the run is a better way of putting it.

I hope I'm wrong though.

 

It would be nice to see us compete. Until we solve our rushing issues both offensively and defensively, we may have some problems getting to .500 or staying over. We definitely need the D to step it up tomorrow. Gameplan is force Rivers to win the game. His big target is Gates and good luck trying to stop him but, can't let LT run crazy or else it will be over quickly.

Gates isn't the only weapon, they picked up Chris Chambers before the deadline I believe.

 

True but, Chambers being a big player in this game, his first game with the Chargers? D-Rob will probably take the assignment of defending him. I hope we somehow win this game but, I'm not feeling very optimistic with present situation with the team, extraordinary circumstances in SD, probably no way SD comes out flat in this one.

 

I can't believe the season is halfway over.

Could be a blowout. This has "Saints 2006" written all over it. I'll go the conservative route.

such a promising start to the season. it doesn't look good from here on out.
