Texans should have taken anything they could have gotten for him. It would be so Texans if they end up cutting him for nothing.
let him rot on the bench and fine him for unsportsmanlike conduct. I don't get to negotiate a fat deal at work then tell them to trade me. If an underperforming friend of mine gets fired, I don't get to ask to be traded. Shoot your slings and arrows for the lies you've covered up big boy. I'm betting it's a much ado about nothing. Deshaun been gone. Just remember that the fans don't have the luxuries sports players do. Also wondering if it was a lie when the Rams signed him to an extension only to trade him. Or the patriots......
they have so much in dead cap as is, taking on more for a disgruntled cooks would have been a bad precedent to start. (trust me, Tunsil is watching) I'd also wager that teams were looking more at 4th to 5th round compensation in return (in addition to us eating large portions of his salary)
What a mess. But the team on the field has been hot garbage all season, why not off the field too? I do feel like there must be some kind of valid complaint by Cooks, however, just because it is really not in his nature to pull this sort of thing based on what we have seen so far in his time here. I wonder if the "lies" he is referencing have to do with what the team may or may not have known about Deshaun's shenanigans. I suppose the team could still be punished if it comes to light they were turning a blind eye.
This would solve a lot of issues. Add Ika and the DL would look a lot better. I don't see a fa like Payne signing with the Texans.
Cooks is nothing but a phony and a quitter, now that he is mad that Jack left all that "team culture" bs goes out the window. If he comes back how can anyone look at him and take him seriously.................just slap "QUITTER" on the back of his jersey
After watching Hughes wreak havoc last night and Addison getting some pressure as well…it just makes me want Anderson more. Having a legit pass rusher who can also help stop the run will do wonders for our secondary. Imagine having someone like Hughes who is like 20 years younger lol. Or like I think it was @gucci888 that said a young Von Miller in Anderson
