Any team that relies on one RB that much is a loser team.

    . . . . and where are we now?

QB, RB, TE, O-line < -- All these positions are worse than last year. . .or seems like it
D-Line - maybe the same but had greater expectations

LineBackers, Secondary <--- worse than last year

and It is not because we playing stronger competition this year

    No you're right.

Smith and BOB have built one of the worst rosters ever.

And they started with aa solid core post Kubiak.

Letting Myers go was not smart.

We essentially downgraded two spots on the OLine by letting Myers go.

Also, Mohamed should not have been IR'd. That was dumb…we need him at that spot.

I don't buy this. Hoyer has been garbage too. These Hoyer stats that everyone keeps flaunting are all in garbage time. They are totally meaningless. Fitz and Keenum are better than both the scrubs they came into this season with

Better question would be 2013 Texans vs 2015 Texans. Who takes the toilet bowl

They started with a 2-14 team. Many thought that that team had playoff talent. It is looking now like not so much.

That team went 9-7 the next year.

    Then BOB made the overhaul

That is what you going with? There was roster turnover in both OBie seasons.

    Not much the first year.

Also it was BOB who threw away at least six picks so you can't blame the depth issues on Kubiak.

    How long is Hoyer concussed?

The last 3 games are against the Colts, Jags, and Titans so in theory they should all be winable.

Very true. It's really sad that we downgraded the QB position this year or we could have realistically had 10 or 11 wins pretty easily IMO.

Stop posting the same thing in every thread.

    Youre still wrong.

Hoyer is average and Mallet is trash. Your romantic interest isn't coming back.

put me down for fitzie. we are basically running an offense that gets you in third and short but without a qb that can efficiently complete a third and short pass.

    last night:
    1st down:waste a down with a wildcat
    2nd down: run again
3rd down and long: shotgun( i wonder what bill is thinking we would do in that situation hmmm)

By the 3rd quarter, the patriots knew what was coming and the texans never slid the protection over. it's why the o line looked horrid.

Team needs, QB, RB, WR or pass catching TE. Could also use help at LB and S.

The team actually has good personal but you'll never be a contender when one of your team needs is QB. But don't feel so bad, only one team has Brady and then about half a dozen or so teams have a franchise guy they can count on. Then you got another half dozen or so teams that have a rookie they hope can be the franchise guy. So that's only 12 out of 32 teams that don't have an immediate QB need. It's actually one of the reasons I don't like football that much. It's the only team sport where you can have all pros at every other position except QB and you still suck. For such a critical piece, it's amazing they are so few good ones in the world. I wonder why? Imagine a profession where only 12 high level professionals exists. That's facking nuts!!!

I saw lots of open players. In some cases the throws were made. In most cases those throws weren't great, and the receivers helped Hoyer not at all in catching tough balls.

Not giving the coaching a pass, but the opportunities are/were there. The difference between a drive continuing and not is thin in the NFL.
