Got this off a web site I was browsing 2007 Home Colts Jags Titans Saints Chiefs Broncos Bucs Dolphins 2007 Road Colts Jags Titans Raiders Chargers Falcons Panthers Either Steelers or Bengals (depending on win percentage) Not sure how they decide since they both finished 8-8
We are playing the Browns again, they are the ast place team, as are we. The rest of the schedule is correct, although we could play the Bills instead of the Dolphins, depending on who finishes in last place.
That's not a difficult schedule on paper. 2007 Home Colts -- W Jags -- W Titans -- W Saints -- W Chiefs -- L Broncos -- L Bucs -- W Dolphins -- W 2007 Road Colts -- L Jags -- W Titans -- W Raiders -- W Chargers -- L Falcons -- W Panthers -- L Browns -- W I predict an 11-5 record. Into the playoffs for the Texans.
Can't even be a .500 team, what makes you think we'll be 11-5? 2007 Home Colts -- L Jags -- W Titans -- L Saints -- L Chiefs -- L Broncos -- L Bucs -- W Dolphins -- L 2007 Road Colts -- L Jags -- L Titans -- L Raiders -- W Chargers -- L Falcons -- L Panthers -- L Browns -- W 4-12
It's an easier schedule than this year. Just look at the NFC opponents. We get the NFC South instead of the East. This year the Texans went 0-4 aginst the East. I see no reason why they can't go at least 2-2 against the South. The AFC West is about equal with the AFC East. We went 1-3 against the AFC East this year and 1-0 against the West. I think the Texans will have the same record against nondivision AFC teams as this year. Maybe 11-5 is a bit stretched, but they will definitely do better than 6-10, regardless of who the QB is. A couple of quality draft picks (OL and DB), and maybe a free agent or two, and you are looking at a much improved team than this year's. The absolute minimum I see is 8-8 for the Texans.
I know the NFC South is weak this season but you know Carolina will improve and I think Atlanta will too. Both teams have the talent they just need a coach. The Texans could go 9-7 with that schedule but not with Carr at qb. It will be the same thing as this season.
no way im predicting anything this early.. teams keep going from champs to suckage too quickly to make any guesses.
Kubiak inherited an awful team from Capers last year, and look what he did with it. Being the laughing stock of the NFL and going 6-10 is a heck of a job. Kubiak is the right coach for the job, and this offseason he will make the right moves and make the Texans into a contender. I truly believe we are only a year or two away from being a major force in the NFL.
Kubiak may be the right coach, but I have no faith in the team we have. I see another 5-11 or 6-10 season if we're lucky. Other than that, I don't see this team going anywhere.
hmmm.... I mean, that prediction isn't exactly out of the question. Lets try to be realistic here. We never had a winning season, so they doesn't usually garners high expectations. If we do, that would be great. If we don't, I am not surprised.
If Carr is still taking the snaps then you are right on point. That guy was terrible again today. The running game bailed him out again.
Are you taking into acount free agent signings, draft picks, our d-line getting healthy or a million other things that can happen until the season starts? It sounds like your being a homer with that negative nancy prediction. Finished the season off with 2 wins, one against the Colts. Here's to a great offseason (without ole' Casserly) and a positive direction for the franchise.
