just bored and thinking about... if i was gm of the texans... i would try and trade carr and davis to chicago for benson and their number one pick... we would get a tremendous talent at running back... we could use our picks to draft a good qb, and then use the bears pick to pick up a OL . I think this would be a solid start to an offseason. I mean, the bears might as well... they dont seem too intrested in using him when their current running back is playing pretty damn well. they could use to expend benson to get davis...which isnt excatly light as an RB either. they would also get carr... a legit starting qb for their offense.
I think the Texans will benefit if they trade Carr for a can on pinto beans, and the offensive line for a broken tape deck.
You thing the problem with this proposed trade would that it would be uneven in favor of Chicago? There is no way any team would trade for Carr and his upcoming 8 million dollar bonus/0 win record right now, much less part with a high #1 pick.
Besides if anyone is going to trade quarterbacks it'll be san diego since they have two. Philip Rivers who hasn't had the crap beaten out of him on the field yet would probably be a better option for a lot of teams than carr.
