Just seeing if I could post using my Blackberry. You can just ignore this. Pretty neat if it works.

Which one did you get? Verizon's new 8703 are pretty sweet, id buy a blackberry if only they had touchscreen and a 5 button navigation in the middle.

I've got the 8700g, T-Mobile. It's a great phone. The older Blackberrys look terrible and clunky as phones but this one is just fine. It's a powerhouse. From the robust speakerphone, the amazing 1-touch dialing (26 options instead of just 8 or 9), email functionality, LCD screen to the internet it is great. I was totally against getting one until my boss ordered me to. I'm glad I waited until the 8700g came out.

Now when chilling out at lunch, I can browse the net, including Clutchfans. I signed in, was welcomed, browsed around and started a thread.

Anybody on the fence about these should just do it. You will not regret it, especially if you are out of the office a lot, on the road and wonder if important emails are waiting on you.

Forgot to mention it clips on your belt very securely, to the point you don't have to worry about it falling off.

I wouldn't recommend testing it. You might aggrivate it and then you will need to treat it. Preparation H has many choices, but it is best to attack the source, once temporary relief is attained.

Eat more fiber and try not to strain when you drop the kids off at the pool.

    Good luck

I just lost my Blackberry 8700c. I was at the park with my dogs and it must have bounced out of its holster. I looked for two hours (calling the number from a friends cell phone). It actually answered once and I could hear someone walking and people talking in the distance (I'm guessing whoever found it accidently answered it while it was in his/her pocket). Clearly this person is not going to try and return it as he/she would probably have answered it one of the million times I called it. Fortunatly it was locked (my contact info on the Home screen).

How big are these things? Can you carry them in your pocket like a regual cell?

Then you haven't seen the 8100/Pearl. Great phone. I hated other Blackberrys because of their odball shape/full-sized keyboards. This one is sweet.

I want to get one, but if you already have a plan with a carrier, the cost goes way up. Best to get one when it is time to renew your cell carrier contract or if you are switching cell carriers.

My assistant just got one. We activated the email late last week. I'll ask her how she likes it.

You can carry the 8700g in your pocket. But I've found the belt clip is secure enough. I don't run or jog with it.

The biggest complaint I have with the 8100 after using it for a while is the battery cover is not secured that well - it's a design flaw. Other than that, let's just say I now know why they're called "crackberrys". It's a great product with a pretty good UI. The trackball allows you to navigate everything pretty easily.
