http://jalopnik.com/5185534/tesla-model-s-sedan-concept-first-official-pictures They finally unveiled it today, and I must say it looks awesome. Depending on the model it should be able to get 150-300 miles per charge. Price should be around 60k, which I guess makes sense since you'll be saving so much on gas. Here are some pics (more pictures in link):
Damn, that car looks f'in hot... looks almost like an Aston Martin. I wish I had the G's to buy that car.
After the scientist? I don't know. That would be the obvious guess but I bet there is some strange story with the company that I'm not aware of. I know nothing about this company. On another note, the car is pretty nice looking.
Basically to honor who they think was more responsible for electricity, even though most accolades go to Edison. http://www.lifehack.org/articles/pr...rsus-nikola-tesla-who-is-more-productive.html
Well compared to other 60k cars and the tech under the hood, it looks like a great deal to me. Tesla has another sports model that sells for 100k so I'm surprised this is as low as it is. And actually I'm an A to B guy who doesn't care for cars in general. I'm sticking w/ my 95 Camry until it collapses.
I was about to say that in ten years driving as I do, you'd recoup $20k of that purchase in gas costs, but then I started thinking about the opportunity cost vs. just putting that 20k into a conservative growth product that using the rule of 72 would more than likely put that extra 20k into your pocket anyway. In other words, never mind.
not only electricty but computers and LCD screens as well [as told to me by this very nice Serbian woman . . .while I was helping her fix her computer. . . .she wwas very enthusiatic about Tesla. . .and well . .. we will say not so much for Mr Edison] but really Tesla was an incredible dude Rocket River
