I do not know if you all noticed the same thing, but that production was terrible. When they went to Lisa it was like she was sitting in a hallway in front of a curtain, and it almost seemed as though she had to whisper. I was not a fan of the pregame or halftime show last year but this one was one of THE WORST I have ever seen. They really need to change things up including the host. Maybe have a panel similar to TNT, Lisa and the production last night are not going to cut it! Any thoughts?
I think production of last night's game was poor for 3 probably reasons: 1. If I'm not mistaken, Lisa Maloski said that she was on the road with Bill and Calvin, so she wasn't in the studio as normal. That's problem the reason for the drape in the back. 2. The TV deal with Channel 51 and Channel 39 were just completed a day or two ago, so the studios probably weren't prepared. 3. Although we're all excited about the season finally starting, it was just a preseason game. And if these aren't good enough, here's one more............ 4. Calvin's suit!!!
We need to get upset now! The production is falling into old ways! "WE WANT FULL STATS AT THE END OF EVERY GAME" Please make an effort to make this a reality. Thank you!
the sound of that channel was pretty bad..the visual of it was "ok".. not the best but i got use to it when the rockets played... the halftime was pretty boring..too many commercials...but i do like the encore reply just incase i miss the game..i can check it on at midnight. that was pretty tight..
I was very dissapointed. Hopefully it will get better. Still though, I am just happy to be watching the Rox again.
It's obvious that the reason the production was bad was that our production assistant to camera ratio was terrible. In fact, our production assistant/camera ratio was one of the worst in the league, if I remember last season. Teams like the King and Nets have production assistant/camea ratios at least twice as much as ours. NOTHING has changed!
Well, according to my TV, it was snowing inside the Pyramid last night. BTW, did EG drive down the lane on one possesion? I mean, there was a snow covered figure that looked like it could be him, and the figure faced up, and drove to his left and down the lane on one particular play, but it didn't convert the shot. But I must admit, I'd rather see the Rockets playing in 'TV snow' than not playing at all.
