He guests stars quite a bit on My Wife and Kids. His character on there is hilarious. He's the father of Damon Wayne's son's wife on the show. I remember one ep where his wife kicks him out, so he has to stay at Damon Wayne's family's house in the show. He eats all of their food and is oblivious to the damage he causes. Of course, for laughs he has things like fear of thunderstorms. So, in one sequence, Damon's young daughter comes running in to the parents room because she's scared, but then there's another crack of lightning and thunder and Terry Tate comes running in wearing giant kids style pajamas and jumps into the bed as well. It's not Seinfeld, but it made me chuckle. His real name is Lester Speight, but he goes by Mighty Rasta or just Rasta.
That has to be one of my all time favorite series of commercials. Thankfully they realized that they could only go so far with it and stopped making them before I got sick of them.
still the best super bowl commercial ever. we rewound that thing so many times on dvr the first time it came on.
