http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/footba...e-Pryor-s-fake-40-time-eclip?urn=ncaaf,181904 There is no way in hell this is possible. OSU coaches claim he is the fastest player on the team. I doubt that. I don't know who timed him but that can't be possible!
Vick ran about a 4.25 which I can believe because he is only about 6 feet tall and weighs 215 lbs. On the other hand, Pryor is listed at 235 lbs and is about 6.5 feet tall... Even VY didn't run it that fast and Vince was freakin quick and about the same body size.
I don't believe the story and I don't believe for one minute Terrelle Pryor is as fast as Mike Vick used to be. Especially if he 6'6, 235 lbs. This is bogus.
I drink wine now.....the beer gave me uhhhhh.......some ....hmmmm...how do I say it ........FAT ROLLS !! DD
LOL...the thought of Pryor and JaMarcus Russell on the same team is pretty hilarious. Definitely something the Raiders would be stupid enough to try. But yeah, 4.33 for a QB is extremely impressive. For comparison's sake, I believe Michael Vick ran a 4.25 so to even be in that same neighborhood is a statement in itself. Hopefully, Pryor will continue to develop and prove he's more than just your run-of-the-mill athletic college QB that can't throw on the pro level. Being a Western PA guy i've been following Pryor for years. I wish him nothing but the best.
I seem to recall that Bo Jackson allegedly ran a 4.17.......which sticks in my head as the fastest time I ever heard.....not sure if it was real or just some made up BS, but that guy was AMAZINGLY fast. DD
Bolt's 40 times aren't that fast actually -- his speed comes over the last 50 meters. Carl Lewis was another guy who had relatively slow 40's, for a world class sprinter but high top end speed. On topic... Pryor might run a 4.5...
Exactly. As a former sprinter, I can promise you that what Bolt did to the track & field world defies logic. He's a long-legged sprinter that theoretically should struggle getting out of the blocks. Instead, he gets out of the blocks just fine but really kicks it into another gear down the backstretch of a race -or- the final 50 meters. A 40 meter race is too short for his "kick" to take effect.
