Just reported on ESPN.. Terrell Owens is out for the rest of the regular season and the NFC playoffs with a broken leg/sprained ankle.

This will hurt Philadelphia's chances in the playoffs. Granted they made the NFC Championship the last 3 years without Owens. However, TO is a guy you want for big games. Devastating.

There goes the only good team in the NFC. Who's left? Atlanta?? That team got shutout 27-0 a couple of weeks ago...

Tyrone Calico was the first, right?

Man, I don't feel sorry for Eagles fans or T.O. at all.

    Good riddance.

Sux to be Philly Fan right about now.

Even with T.O. they were considered an underdog if they faced the Pats or Steelers in the Superbowl. I still think they have enough weapons to get there but they have little or no chance after that.

JMHO or 0.02 (take your pick :D)

There goes any shot Philly had at winning the sb.

Kinda sux, I wanted Philly to whoop up on whoever came out of the AFC, but meh. Even though I was initially hoping against it, TO really added a new dimension to the philly offense, and they were fun to watch.

ya think?? i think they'd probably be favorites against the steelers...but not the pats.

so who now?? one of the teams without a winning record?? Atlanta?? Rams/Seahawks??

    i'm guessing Green Bay.

Green Bay and New England in the Super Bowl...rematch.

Did the fans cheer the way they did when Michael Irvin's career was ended?

I originally said it could not have happened to a nicer guy, but.....felt bad about it.

I just think T.O. is bad for the league, the guy is a showboat and it takes the 10 other guys doing their job to allow him to do his.

Still, don't want anyone to get hurt.

I think you will be hard-pressed to find a Cowboys fan who feels sorry for Philly or TO. After all the crap he has pulled, then this is sweet justice. Let that be a lesson to all you kids out there....being a jerkoff will come back to haunt you in the end.

    LOL

I am not a TO fan or a Philly fan, but I would never wish this luck on anyone.

I am the type of person that wants a team to do their best with their best, because if they lose there is no excuse like... well if so-and-so had not been out then maybe... blah blah blah. And if that team wins then all the better for those who got them there.

I wouldn't wish this on any player (maybe Ray Lewis), and I won't say he deserved it however TO is finding out what it's like to play in Philadelphia. The Eagles are not meant to win a superbowl, call it a curse or whatever it's just not going to happen. The Eagles are a lot like the Jazz, great coaching, they play as a team and the whole is always better than the sum of the parts. The loss of TO really won't slow them down, hell they lost McNabb for a good part of (03,04?) and still made it to the NFC Championship game. They'll just plug someone in and continue to pound the NFC until the next championship game when they'll remember yes we are the Eagles and lose. Like the Jazz they're always in the hunt for a championship but just can't close the deal.
