I don't remember the name of the park, but there is a park with tennis courts on Mulberry Drive btw Bissonnet and Bellaire Blvd.

Basically, you would take 59 and exit Newcastle. Then get to Bissonnet and go to Mulberry. It will be on your left at the stop sign.

EDIT. That link didn't work. It would be on Mulberry which runs parallel between Newcastle and Weslayen.

There are 3 courts at that Mulberry location, though there is a tennis pro there that usually reserves the courts on Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 until about 8:30. Not sure he still has those classes going on but last I checked he didn't.

There are also 2 other courts in that same direction except instead of turning right on mulberry, you'd turn on Avenue B right before newcastle. You'll be able to see the courts from Bissonnet so you'll know if they re taken before you even turn right. It's behind a softball field.

There is also one lit court at San Felipe and Yorktown as well.

Most of these courts are lit until at least 11pm.

for 24 hour lit courts go to UH. There are 6 courts to use there where the Alumni Athletic Center are.

There are a couple of free courts at a school off Stella Link between Bellaire and S. Braeswood, and also a couple at a community center on Chimney Rock just south of West Bellfort.
