I'm thinking about buying one of these. Went to a Relax the Back store and tried it out and it's great. Especially the one that is adjustable so you can raise your head, etc. Does anyone have experience with these? Are the prices any cheaper online? Thanks.
You know you don't really need the whole mattress. You can find many memory foam topper that's way cheaper, and has the same effect. http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=dp_brlad_entry/102-6220406-3497741?ie=UTF8&node=3732521 http://www.amazon.com/Memory-Foam-T...try/102-6220406-3497741?ie=UTF8&node=14335741
i purchased a tempurpedic in november and i never regretted it. My sleep is alot better and alot less waking up in the middle of the night. i spent about 3k for a queen and they threw in the pillows and free delivery the next day at mattress firm. definitely worth the price for a much more peaceful sleep. of course the sex is a little different since there is no spring.
check out my friends sites.... www.angelbeds.com thats tempurpedic stuff....let me know before you buy can try and get you a deal possibly.... www.sleepbetterstore.com cheaper prices...i dont know much about the beds but i know he sells a lot of them!
I just recently bought a tempurpedic celebrity. I was looking to only spend a lil bit and when i laid down on the celebrity i was sold. It cost me 3600 bucks but well worth it. I was having a lot back problems and seriously been only a month and i dont have those problems anymore. I researched for weeks before even deciding on which bed to go with. Those angel beds and the other cheap brands will only give you a good two years after that people usually say that the bed seems to dip. Tempurpedic has a 20 year warranty and if there is a dip of even a qtr inch theyll get you a new bed. I know 3k sounds like a lot and trust me i was like am i really gonna do this. but after calculating it for about ten years. it cost like 10 bucks a month. and thats really nothing for a good night sleep. I would go with the tempurpedic or sealy true form. And if you do go with angel bed or another cheap company just read the reviews about it. OH YEA!! I forgot to mention if you get a doctors note sayin you need the mattress for your back, they'll waive off the tax. That saved me like 300 bucks.
when you realize you spend 1/4 (6 hours) to 1/3 (8 hours) of you life in a bed, it's the last thing you should skimp on. if you've got the money, there's no doubt it's beneficial to go with what's best for your sleep.
I used to date a girl who had a tempurpedic and they indeed do live up to the hype. However, their patent ran out on the material, so there have to be knockoffs that are just as good out there for cheaper. Anyone have any experience with one of these?
That's a good point about knockoffs. I've got a knockoff pillow from Bed Bath and Beyond and while it's okay it's not quite the same. Of course I don't have a real one day in day out to compare with. Just what I tried at the store. So I'm not sure if the knockoff beds will disappoint the same way. I'm looking at two side-by-side singles for what they call a split king. And then add the adjustable part of the bed to that and I'm looking at $7400. My two older brothers are doctors so I'll get a prescription and save tax on it, but that's still a lot of money. Anyone else have experience with the knockoffs? mrdave, I'll check out your friends site
