Television went too far years ago with shows like The Richard Bey Show, Jerry Springer, Road Rules/Real World 3,873,239.

Reality TV couldn't be anymore unreal.

The movie was bad enough and now a reality show?
I guess the networks don't have any "real" people in their company. Or if they do they are all a bunch of a$$ kissers and they say "great idea boss" to any piece of crap they dream up...

Boss: How about we make a reality show of the Jetsons and Mr. Ed?

Employee : Sounds like a great idea

What employee really thinks : I am going to be out a of job soon with this dumba$$ running the company...

Well...I guess I'll be the first one to admit that I will probably watch this show. As ridiculous as it sounds, it could very well be pretty damn funny.

    snickers

    j/k Raven....

Well, considering that I don't watch any network television at all, this won't cause me to lose any sleep tonight.

However, if I decide to get back to watching network TV again, this show is definitely a black mark against watching.:p

If they brought back Diedrich Bader (Oswald) from the movie to play Jethro, I might watch it.

Riiiiiiiight... Because nothing is funnier than observing hicks talk about NASCAR and snipe hunting with clueless snobs at a wine and cheese affair. Oh, suuuuuuure, it'll all be in good taste. Don't worry, CBS, we promise to laugh with the rednecks and not at them.

Reality TV sucks. I would rather just enjoy my own life than watch a bunch of pathetic people bicker and act like idiots.

    Nice post Vescey.

I just can't believe we've sunk to this. We drag some poverty-stricken, un-educated people out of their homes, throw them into a rich neighborhood, film it and then ENCOURAGE us to laugh at it. How completely and utterly devoid of any shred of dignity whatsoever.

Does this smack anyone of exploitation? It's like, "Oh, you poor people, amuse us!"

It's like Anna Nicole on E. They make what is supposed to be a joke, "It's not supposed to be funny. It just is." I just find it pathetic and degrading.

As usual, prime time TV comes up with a winner.

I like the idea that was presented in the poll: What will be the next classic TV show to become a reality series?

Green Acres would be cool. Lets take some rich snobs and make them live in the real world....that would be a reality show I would watch.

after watching the first two episodes of the "Anna Nicole Smith Show," no television programming can shock me anymore...

they could air people eating bugs and i wouldn't be surprised... wait, they already do that! :D

And yet nobody wants to bring back a good show like 'Roc'. (Damn good show, I'm still bitter about that!)

Now I remember why I NEVER watch network TV!

As long as there is free stuff or a free trip involved, people will go to any length to debase themselves, as evidenced by current talk shows. They will deserve to be laughed at.

I would watch Survivor: Green Acres. All that fine whine.
