link Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - The B-12 shot that Baltimore Orioles shortstop Miguel Tejada gave to teammate Rafael Palmeiro has been found not to contain any illegal substances. "It was investigated and he (Tejada) passed," said Jim Beattie, the Orioles' executive vice president for baseball operations. "And they found it to be B-12. It was clean B-12. Miggy is cleared in any implication that he provided steroids to Palmeiro." On Thursday it was learned that Palmeiro reportedly implicated Tejada to a Major League Baseball arbitration panel as the teammate that gave him a substance, now believed to be B-12, which could have contained stanozolol, a powerful anabolic steroid that Palmeiro tested positive for in May. Can Palmeiro even go back to play for Baltimore? after naming Tejada? What a Loser!
Apparently Palmeiro is not going to be an Oriole next year and no teams have any real interest in signing him for next year either, according to ESPN.
Its too bad one of these cats didn't just tell congress the truth. They would have eventually been heros for it. Now they all look like asses. And it keeps on getting deeper.
What a great teammate... Sad he should just bow out of baseball quietly and maybe baseball will let him into the HOF after he dies...
We've thought of suspension and explusion, but decided the only thing left is deportation for Mr. Palmeiro.
Palmeiro will be unofficially blackballed from MLB like Jose Canseco. What a fool. He was a first ballot HOFer with his numbers. Now he's a disgrace.
