yup... i believe they're playing at Mantra on August 19th... presale tix available @ groovetickets.com!
I'll definately be at G&D, I love those guys. Although I'll be stopping by Live and see Stack and throw some brews back because the Brewers are in town that night. Tickets are only 5 bucks too (+3.03 service charge)... can't beat that with a stick. Freaking Oakenfold charges like 50 cover... and Oakey couldn't hold G&D's jocks. Only other DJ that is on par with them in my opinion is James Holden. http://www.groovetickets.com/orders...ID=10&EventsID=17840&PGname=Disco+Productions
Yeah considering the drafts are only a $1 with your astros ticket i think it's worth it to stop by.... I won't be going to the show though.
Yeah before and after the games the special applies. On domestic Drafts. Basically $1 Pints or if you get a pitcher it's $4
My favorite progressive DJs... James Holden - his mixes are dark but freakin' awesome; the Holden & Thompson "Come To Me" remix is one of my favorite trance mixes. James Zabiela - Alive cd 1 and 2 are unbelievable. His ability to mix progressive trance and old school breakbeats is unparalleled. I'd have to rank Zabiela at the top of my list. Ozgur Can - every remix I hear of his, I like. Definitely worth checking out. Here's a short list from my itunes...sort of a various mix of trance, vocal trance and progressive trance tunes... I'll be at Mantra that night. I wouldnt miss these guys. I've been waiting for them to come down and finally they are here. Only other DJ's that have kicked ass in Houston have been Ferry Corsten and Armin Van Buuren. Oakenfold comes down here way too much. Still good to listen to but he doesn't always throw down a great set.
