Thought I'd post this for the BBS: I heard this many years ago, and I happened to stumble across it again today, but with a twist -- it's been set to music.

It's an angry phone message left for Canon Laptop technical support. This guy lost all his files when he sent it in for repair, and he goes BERSERK! The page below has the original call, plus two that are set to music. The remix one is great!!

HILARIOUS!! I mean, you've got to feel badly for the guy, but what makes it so interesting is how he COMPLETELY flies off the handle. Starts out normal, but then just completely explodes in a volcanic fit of rage!

PS - Nothing gets a point across like angry piano playing music.

Ha! Not bad, but as someone that works on the phones for tech support, that aint the worst. I have been working in the tech support call center more than 3 years and I have heard everything, some things are not funny anymore, just plain sad. :(

Vengeance: That is wayyy old! I'm surprised this just came on recently!

Seriously..... this has been around at least a year... and I'm assuming longer, since I was w/o for around a year, myself.

Like the description said, it's tough to pity someone who's dumb enough to send away a computer with critical files that you haven't backed up. I mean, deep down I suppose I feel bad for him, but that's just plain foolish.

Ya, it has been around for at least four years as I heard it when I first started at Apple.
Gotta agree with Dave2000 on this one, that is nothing compared to the stuff I heard directed at me LIVE on the telephone. That dude was just pissed that his files were gone and sounded like he was gonna cry.
I have had people threaten my life. Seriously, over a computer. In fact we had callers TWO DAYS after 9-11 that were saying that if we didn't fix their computer that they were going to fly planes into Apple headquarters in Cupertino. Not funny.

I know it's old -- that's why I said "I heard this many years ago". I had it saved as a wav file on my computer about five years ago. I just happened to come across it the other day, and I'm amused that it's been set to music!

I used to work phone tech support, and while I've had bad calls, I've never had anyone be THAT angry. The worst I ever had was a guy who bought a modem from us, installed it, then called me because he couldn't connect. We went through this for like 25 minutes and finally he just blew up and insisted he bring his computer in. So he did . . . I connected it to the phone line and it dialed just fine. I didn't do anything special, but he insisted I did something different.

The thing I have realized in working tech support is that EVERY STORY, no matter how far-fetched, outlandish and stupid is TRUE!! If you've never worked tech support, the "CDROM Coaster" thing just sounds like an urban legend. I assure you that every single story about this stuff is true! We had a guy whose CDROM wouldn't work at all. He brought it in, set it on the table and showed us why the CDROM wouldn't work. We then explained to him that the computer was UPSIDE DOWN and those four bumps on the "top" were feet.
