WTF? Tech "D" looked dominant on that first posession. They forced a 3 and out on Oklahoma on the first posession of the game... My guns are up no matter how bad this is for my 'Horns!
OU just wants to make sure the ratings stay good so they want to keep it kind of close. It's a favor to ABC.
Update for those not watching...: It's not 65 - 13, but OU has a pretty big cushion. If not for the costly turnovers, Tech could very possibly be winning this game.
Game should have been alot closer than what it ended up. Those 2 Td's at the end of the half killed Tech. They should have just gone down in the half down by 10 or so rather than try to force the issue. Tech should have had he ball in the 2nd half with a chance to make it a 1 posesion game rather than having OU up by 25 . Just terrible thinking by Leach and bad execution by the offense. If you have a chance to be down by 10 at the half versus ou than you take that in run espically if your a 2nd half team like Tech. (I think it was 10 something around there)Sometimes I think Leach thinks with his ______ rather than his brain. BJ was awful from the start. But even with a very unimpressive peformance by the offense they still manged to move the ball consistantly throughout most of the game. I havent seen any team have that much success vs OU in a long time. And even if the score dosent idicate it. The defense played very well the improvement since the OSU/Missouri is remarkable. I'm excited to see how this defense will devlop in a few years they are very young. They gave OU a bunch of trouble its just shorten fields cuz INTs will kill your chances of stoping a offense like OU. And that 4th and 10 TD was pretty much blind luck. They played well when the game was still in doubt. Its just very frustrating knowing the game should have been closer if Leach just tones it down a few notches. I was hoping for a Alamo or Holiday bowl about a month ago. Not going to happen now. So now I'm hoping for the Houston Bowl so I can attend the game. Hopefully they can play TCU where ever they end up. I've also read that Notre Dame could even end up in the Houston Bowl if they win out. I would like to see Tech get a chance at them. It would get some attention since its Notre Dame. Whomever they play I dont see Tech having any trouble playing anybody not named Oklahoma or Texas will give the team a sigh of relief. Overall dissapointing season. But theres reason to be optimistic for next season. The defense will be 1 year better. Tech has a great juco QB coming to Lubbock in Robert Johnson whom has been running the spread offense and he can also scramble. If he's good as advertised the offense will have another great QB only this time he can run. Could be very scary. Tech right now has a top 10 recruiting class from what Ive read so the talent is starting to come. I can't wait Now just get Leach locked up and win your bowl like your supposed to
