Remember those championship years? How proud we were of this team, the Dream, Elie, Rudy, the heart, the Clutch, the Glyde. Well for me the love is back, the feelings are rekindled. After years of it melting away it is coming back. I don't mean I stopped loving the Rockets. I mean I was searching to recapture that magic feeling about the team that I had during '94-'96 I like our team. I like the way we play. I am proud of our team. I see new heros. New personalities that will capture our hearts. Sura, Barry, Wesley, Padgett, Deke will these become new Rocket legends... And of course TMac and Yao- what a perfect combo to come in and become our new heroes, our next Dream Tandem. We couldn't ask for better people as our superstars. And then old Grumpy. Ok I have to admit it, he is growing on me. I know the winning has alot to do with it. And there are no guarantees. But I am going to be honest, I am feeling it. The chemistry is magical and it is back. It is as strong as before. Get your hearts out fans, this is a team we can love. I am even allowing myself to believe again. heart of a champion, clutch city, how sweeeeet it is..... What do you think?
i think its still too early to say we have turned the corner, maybe the next 10 games will give us a real answer. we need to prove we can play any tough team, sonics, spers, kings. i do believe we are a champion team, so we need to do more, 8 straight win is not enough for the heart of a champion.
It is fun to see older men playing the game like it should be played and laughing like kids. The Rockets fever is catching!
