INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) - Team USA meets Chinese sensation Yao Ming for the second time in nine days on Saturday night at the RCA Dome in the final first-round game of the World Basketball Championships. The top overall pick by the Houston Rockets in this year's NBA draft, Ming totaled 13 points, 11 rebounds and six assists in an 84-54 exhibition loss to the United States on August 22. In two Pool C games during the World Championships, the 7-5 Ming has averaged 27 points, nine rebounds and 4.5 blocks - numbers skewed by his performance Friday, when he had 38, 13 and eight in a 96-82 win over overmatched Algeria (0-2). With Dirk Nowitzki and Germany (1-1) meeting Algeria on Saturday, it is likely China (1-1) will make it to the second round as the third-place team from the group.
