Steve as a PG excels only at ISO
Yao excels only at Team offense
Cat excels at ISO, may also at Team offense

Steve is the PG who dictates the offense. That's why current
Rox offense are more ISO than Team-oriented. As the ISO
offense steadily changes to team, Steve's offense hurts big time.
He may play in a Team offense, but it's not good to force him to
run the team offense. That's simply not his game, so both him and
the team struggle. Trading him won't give us a star, so bringing a
passing PG and moving him to 2 would be better.

Fans want Yao to be dominant. But he lacks strength and atheleticity
even carrying 310 lbs on a 7'6 frame. Right now it's unrealistic to ask
him to power those "small" but more atheletic and stronger players.
You'll fool yourself to expect him to ISO like Shaq or Hakeem. So Van
Gaudy's half court offense is not the one for Yao to thrive. He needs
help, A team offense would be best for Yao and most Rox players not
named Steve and Cat, e.g., players moving without the ball, cutting,
running screens. In the era of Zone offense, that's only way to win a
championship unless you have the best ISO player in the game,
ala Shaq or Duncan. Hell, Sacramento almost got a Championship
without a top 5 player on the Team.

I doubt either Yao or Steve can develop into the best ISO player
in the league. However, under the right system, both of them
can contribute like a top 5 player(especially Yao). So we have to
play more team-oriented offense and Steve must be moved to 2 to
    play his strength.

Steve can play very well at the shooting guard spot. I think he can really be a top 5 shooting guard if he didn't have to worry about passing. Steve shouldn't be thinking. The more Steve thinks and handles the ball, the more turnovers and bad passes he makes. Get a good passer in here. He doesn't have to be John Stockton. He just has to be a solid passer with decent shooting ability. A good passer will get the ball to Steve and Yao when they have the best opportunity to shoot it. It cuts down on turnovers because they have to dribble less.

Steve needs to go if we need to move him to the two. We are paying him MAX dollars to be a pg. The guy can't stop average PGs, I don't want to even imagine a player like Snow on this team. Yao would be triple teamed on offense. GIVE IT A REST. Steve is either our PG or he needs to go somewhere else!
