Focusing just in the team changes expected with the news today (more changes may be coming) and not on the contracts, I can see a clear improvement. We should be in the play-in. Players who continue: KPJ, Jalen Green, Eason, Tate, Jabari, Sengun. The young core + Tate. Clear improvement just for having 1 year of extra experience, and having Udoka instead of Silas (+ not tanking). Changes, 1 by 1: Tyty for Amen: clear improvement. Nix for Mills: addition by substraction, plus veteran presence. Jaygup for VanVleet: no comments needed here… KMJr for Brooks: question mark here. But we are adding a defensive all NBA second team member here. Should be an improvement. Garuba for Whitmore: not fitting the position exactly, but Whitmore’s upside is bigger than Garuba’s. I still think Garuba should have stayed. Kaminsky for Jeff Green: improvement because of the veteran presence and experience. Boban for Landale: Landale is an improvement as we can play him more. I still think we can still bring Boban back too. Silas for Udoka: no comments needed.
