Just went over the team's website (the official one), saw the roster list and the "C," denoting the team captain - Tracy McGrady. Not really that big, but how come they still haven't chosen a replacement?

Tracy is Captain of Rehab now, so technically he is still the captain.

Why does it matter who the captain is?

Like it or not, Tracy McGrady is still a franchise player (even though he didn't show it this year).

    Hahaha. Funny people.

Tracy McGrady is still a great player -- I have never doubted this.

He's been really bad this year, and combined with his history, he's a very easy target. He's still my favorite basketball player. He just talks too much and doesn't have heart. His talent is still there. I still believe he has the ability.

I want him to make a full comeback, much to the dislike of many on this board. Tracy, though, would do best on his team team without Yao in the lane. This guy can still do it. I believe it.

But this year? He's been a non-factor. T-Mac...what could have been if he had heart...sadder than the Titanic imo.

T-Mac used to be a great player, but he is no longer one... His talent has already elapsed along with the time, now there's a big doubt if we will still work as a professional basketball player after his knee stops troubling him. even if a team foolishing gives him a contract after he gets free from the injury and rockets, there will still be a big chance his injury relapses in his arms or chin, or any other part of his brittle body.

I also like T-Mac very much even though he is already done for his career, at least he won't play even one more game for the rockets, and won't hurt our team as well. T-Mac used to be a injuryprone even before joining the rockets, but his age and JVG's bad use of him together made his injury incurable. and even we rockets fans blame him, which has made his mental diseases also incurable.

T-Mac is still a great person, he still can do many thing for our society but not in the gym. That guy has donated millions of dollars for charity, and also for our forum as well. May God bless T-Mac, I hope his son will become a hardy player in the big future.

I don't agree with the "he's done" talk. Maybe as a Rocket, but certainly not as a capable NBA player. He still has the skills, and the talent. The ability? That's something that we can question but I believe he still has it.

Tmac cant afford to lose more face, keep him as Captain on paper, otherwise he may commit a suicide, :( kidding...

I heard like a zillion time how rockets are better without him, image how he feels about it.
