*** damn edit!!! I meant to say, I was cheering for TCU. I love underdogs. I was just saying that with everybody talking about them reaching a BCS bowl and all that was premature and essentially put a ton of pressure on them and a BIG bullseye on them. Sad the run has come to an end.
I wasn't watching it at all. I was just saying based on the conversation that was going on. Bad timing. I guess.
That "counting chickens before they hatch" thing can kill ya'. They'll still be in a bowl game. I couldn't stand all the songs about how they were being snubbed by the BCS on the radio... A little too soon there, froggies. The system works... it just needs a playoff bracket.
I'm glad they lost. I was really afraid them and Texas would win out, and they would be playing each other in a bowl game. Now I'm really hoping for a Texas vs Florida State game.....That would be yummy.
This one loss was a double whammy to TCU. No only do they go from possible BCS bowl to some crappy bowl, they also lose the conference title. Which means even worst bowl. Ouch.
That lost hurts OSU. USC was behing TCU in one computer poll and it also improves their quality win over Wshington St. who will move up from 9th to 8th. That's ok, hopefully if things go well this weekend the pollsters will take care of OSU (plus our SOS will improve again)
