King Kong on both channels at the same time. This right for everyone? I mean they're at the same scene only two or three seconds apart from one another.

i think it's because it's king kong. they probably payed a lot of money for it..so they want to make sure it's worth it. after all they are both owned by turner.

This is true. I remember another poster starting a similar thread about this a few years ago. Must not be that unusual.

Well, it's not common but yeah, they do it occasionally. I can't remember what movie it was last time.

If you think that's weird, the History Channel aired Planet of The Apes a few years ago.

Dude I remembered when Blade used to be on 3 times a week on TNT. One time I caught the 2nd half of Blade, and when it ended they replayed it right afterwards. Sadly enough I saw 1.5x Blade that night.

I have done some dealings selling movie rights to Cable channels. It's not always exclusive to one network and they plan out their showings months in advance. Sometimes they happen at the same time, othertimes they just need to exploit it as much as they can in the time period that they own it since they already paid for the rights.
