TBH: He's good, but Dwight Howard isn't worth 88M

Great win today by the Rockets

Like many of you, I was really excited when the Rockets signed Dwight Howard.

He's played pretty good (not amazing) as a Rocket but, taking all things into account, I don't think he's worth the 22M we shell out per year for him. Parsons may not be able to get the deal he wants because of this.

Currently he's averaging around 16/12. Good numbers, but if you take a closer look, in reality its really 13/12 because of the free hack a howard points he gets. A great player, but remember a guy like Omer put up similar numbers last year. Dwight is surely a better defensive player then Asik, but not 14M better. (22M cap hit vs. 8M). Also, another thing (maybe I'm being too picky), Howard always likes to swat the **** out of the ball out of bounds. Wish he kept it in like other centres try to do (McGee, Sanders)

    Anyone else thinking the same?
