I think last nights performance proved MoT can be the starter for the rest of the season. Griffin is too young and needs to come off the bench w/ his very inconsistent ways. I feel Mo can only get better w/ starting and getting more minutes.

    What do you think?

Does it matter who starts? And besides...they're both inconsistent, not just Griff.

Taylor cannot stop anybody. Backup is his best spot.

He also doesn't rebound, he is too slow to D up on 3s, there is no questioning his offense, but he is a tweener, UNLESS HE STARTS TO REBOUND CONSISTENTLY, then he could be a very good starter at the four.

the problem of taylor is that he can't gaurd a man and he is an even worse rebounder. i like his offense from the bench

    Mo shoudl start?

Mo Taylor...Not just because he scored 30 last night, but he's been playing well without pain last few games. I like the way he positions himself for high percentage goals. And he can get on a streak also. Should we bench EG and start MoT? Your comments please.

the rockets should start terence morris, let him play for 15 min a game. at least he knows his role which is to play defense and to grab rebounds.

moT is still injured, THAT's why he won't remainas the number 1 starter.

    YOU DUMMY!!!

    I thought you were serious.

    Instead, you just propose it.

No. They are trying to make Griffin confident. Just let him sit on the bench while the veteran plays. I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH IT. As long as MO CONTINUES TO BE UNSTOPPABLE AND SCORE 30 POINTS ON 65% SHOOTING!!!

But he just needs to learn how to get rebounds.

"the rockets should start terence morris, let him play for 15 min a game. at least he knows his role which is to play defense and to grab rebounds. "

    WTF

Mo Taylor is getting his game back, but until he improves his defense and rebounding, he should start games on the bench. In the same way that Robert Horry is probably the best PF on the Lakers squad, sometimes you need these effective players to come off the bench to close out games.

I think pansy little fadeaways and outside jumpers won't be very effective in the 4th quarter. I would much rather have someone who bangs and actually boxes out. Sometimes I see Mo stretching for a rebound and I think "well if you held your position and boxed out you wouldn't have to reach for it!!!!!" The guy plays like a guard, and not in a good away.

He's better than Griffin right now but we need a real banger who can take some of the pressure away from Ming. Right now Mo won't take any pressure away because a) no one double teams an outside shooting power forward and b) he doesn't go for offensive rebounds so Yao's man can stay on Yao. Actually they can afford to put even more pressure on Yao and keep him off the glass.

Shaq...Samaki Walker and Robert Horry really help him, eh?

Sir, it's not all jumpers and crap. You still don't believe that 30 points is good enough? He's been injured a while. But yeah. He needs to learn how to rebound. It's not like Griffin rebounds any better.

That's why YAO AND CATO TOGETHER!!!

Horry does a pretty decent job, especially defensively.

And it IS mostly jumpers and crap. He's like a high school player, those little gay moves over and over. It's fine and good every once in a while but doing that stuff ALL the time is not the mark of a top player. He has even tried to dunk on some people and it looks pathetic because I know he doesn't want to make body contact! LOL, if you are going to go strong don't wimp out and try to adjust your body in the air to avoid getting hit! He thinks he's so fancy and probably thinks he's "g0t skillzz" but it's just lame.

Yes, I would prefer Cato in there.

Did he ever say that he's got skills?

As I watched the Mavericks vs. the Rockets...THEY DID NOT DO ANYTHING ORIGINAL!!! They repeated the same play over and over and over and OVER AGAIN. And the Rockets did not have a solution. They just kept on doing it.........Nash and Nowitzki or Nash and Finley. And the Rockets kept on falling for it. Same play over and over again.

And if you say he does the same crap every time...

    Sorry...but what about Yao?

His moves all seem similar every time.

This isn't some game. They don't have like moves and stuff. They don't have Yao's Moves. Well...there is the ShangHai Shake. But what do you expect? Francis pretty much does the same stuff repeatingly as well...
