Yes I'm slightly drunk at 7:30 on a Sunday morning... but I was the lone fan that believed that Matt Schaub was coming here before the offseason last year. That worked out well for us right? RIGHT?

Alliteration aside, is it time for the Texans to Tank? I would love 7 high draft picks next year, as we have at least 7 holes to fill on offense and defense...

    Thoughts?

never tank.....you'll just end up like the Raiders or Rams.

actually, the texans have seemed to draft pretty well under kubiak. far better than the raiders. aside from walter, we can't hit on a free agent to save our lives....so it's gonna have to be from the draft.

I hate the idea of tanking. It reinforces a already pervasive losing culture and demoralizes the team and the fan base.

I have no problem playing younger players with upside over average veterans once a team is eliminated from playoff contention but intentionally losing games in hopes of getting a player is just repugnant to me.

i agree. i was there at the end of the season in 2004...the bush bowl. :) but even then it was difficult to root for your team to lose.

I don't think the Texans are going to have to try real hard to tank, it comes naturally. Unfortunately.

Wait... they're *not* tanking? The last four weeks is how it looks when they're *trying*?

ditto. They'll win probably 1 or 2 more games. I think we secured a top 10 pick.

It's almost becoming a joke like Detroit and wide receivers.

I was in tank mode after the Steelers game... no wait, I mean after the Cowboys game in pre-season. That game was ominous to our season, it was the game where we all knew how much our D suck, and how much of a Succubus Richard Smith was. After Kubiak decided to stick to Smith, and allow him to suck the life out of our D, was when I knew we were going anywhere this year.
