Every Sunday night we go to a club call Escobar, and I always see alot of local celebs there. Well, this past Sunday I met Dominick Davis and Cat Mobley there. I have met Cat a handful of time back in the when he was a rookie, him and Barkley were at the Roxy EVERY Tuesday night back then. Anyways, I told Cat glad to see him again and then we briefly talked about where he would paly next season and Stevie too. He laughed about the subject, but made it sound like he would NOT be back in Sacramento and sounded like he would go where the money was...lol By the way, he kept a napkin tightly wrapped over his drinks the whole night, guess he wants to make sure no one ever slips something in his glass. Two weeks ago I also hungout with JJ Moses there, he is personal friend of one of my boys, and a very cool dude even though he got cut by Texans. If you have not been to Escobar you should check it, place is pretty tight and lots of ladies and no cover charge. Just wanted to put my 2 cents in and would love to have Cat back in H-Town! Out!
Lizard Lounge, Kaboom, Tempest (for about 4 whole weeks), Blue Planet....wow. I picked up so much tail at those places back in the day.
They have Boozer (6yr 70mil) and Okur (6yr 50mil) that signed just last year, and add to that Kirilenko's extension (86 mil for 6 years) and harpring and giricek's MLE type contract. There's no way they can give him a "big" offer.
Lizard's closed down? Where was that located? If i am thinking of the same bar, then that sucks, I loved that place.
If they make a big offer, he might just take it; but Cuttino seems like the big-city type to me. As far as Utah's cap situation, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they shipped Boozer out. I don't know who'd take on that contract (I do know a team that could use a solid PF), but that would give Utah flexibility. I still don't see Cat in Utah. Hopefully for him one of the East Coast teams with caproom will come calling. Of course, most of the teams with cap space do suck royally (New Orleans, Charlotte, Atlanta). I wonder if the Clippers would sign Cat for the money he wants? The Clips aren't far from being a decent team.
i hope this puts an end to the talk of bringing cat back here. if he is chasing money this summer, his hunt will definitely not lead to houston. he may not need a team with huge cap space to get the kind of money he wants. i'm sure he would take a max MLE offer. cavs, nuggets, pacers, clippers, wolves, knicks, magic, blazers, raptors will all be interested in him.
Any club with no cover scares me. It's there for a reason. Of course, if you're on your game, you don't have to pay cover. Nice news; good to hear that Cat is going for the gold. The man is worth it- if he can get on a team that needs another scoring option, he may finally get an all-star nod. J
Little off subject, but I met Markus Coleman at my friend's graduation party. I took a picture with him but I didn't have my digital so I have to get them developed.
