People keep saying in here that we are so good, but we just have to have more time to jell or whatever. Just watch the games...we really aren't talented enough to compete this season. We show flashes, but aren't all NBA players that make millions supposed to show some flashes? There are no excuses, we just aren't a good team, and we need to attract some free agents, cause the lottery won't buy us a chance for the playoffs even next year, unless bryce drew learns how to defend, steve francis learns how to get his teammates involved, and the team learns how to hit free throws. We all miss the glory days from the championships, but Rudy T and co have totally dismantled this team. Too many trades.
Steve Francis does get teammates involved and besides He is the team leader and does what he wants to. I agree we are not talented team. We need like 2 other young players that can score night in and night out. A good draft pick and a good free agent will do it.
Steve Francis is not above criticism, and he is woefully short on the court awareness area. He does show flashes of getting teamates involved, but mostly his moves are designed to get himself a shot. This lends itself to a total breakdown of the team concept, if it happens too often. Which it is !! DaDakota
Francis3: You may as well get used to having Francis criticized. It continually happened to Dream & Chuck and now since it is Steves team he will get the brunt of the criticism. Steve is a great future player but even for the great ones (except Magic) it took them time to get their game & their team to the top.
