I've never done it, but I can only assume this is close to the real thing. If you can't get the effect, your video card sure will!! http://www.richstevens.com/flash/rgb.swf
Back in 1971 I used to do a lot of acid. I never saw anything wierd except the trails from my eyes being dialted. The only thing close to a hullucination I had was driving back from Mexico at dawn I could have sworn they put an overpass support in the middle of the driving lanes on the interstate. I had very profound thoughts though.
Gene, I wish I'd known you back then... a few years earlier would have been even better. You missed the good stuff, my friend. I could tell you stories, but I would have made them all up, right? Since I really know nothing about it. Maybe one of these days I'll trot out my made up stories.
My view of the early 80's was distorted by acid....so we took pictures. My, how those pictures bring back odd memories.
Speaking of which, Behad, I always took pictures too; and did so once on a digital camera (when they were a brand new concept). All of the pictures on that thing came out as vividly strange as the way I was seeing them when I snapped the shots. I've since lost those photos, but they always astounded me. I mean: tracers, melted stuff, etc.; and it didn't do that on any of the sober pictures.
psychedelics are beyond comprehension for those that have never done it. what i mean is there are really no words in any language that could do justice to the experience. most people would say that im ignorant and stupid for this statement. but if everyone in the world could do mushrooms a couple times in a nice controlled enviroment. this world be a much better place. in some ways it opens your eyes to a lot of things. but i mean this mostly with only good experiences. not in stressfull situations where too much is going on and which can lead to a very horrible night.
I always laughed in the form of a musical scale. Start out low and then work my way up to the high notes.
