I really hope the Rockets take the Bulls to the woodshed... This loss is pissing me off... ------------------ Check out my homepage! Loads of sports pics! http://www.public.asu.edu/~sykim/
It means little. The Rockets are 0-14 against the best in the west. Beating the Bulls is nothing special. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."
It means little. The Rockets are 0-14 against the best in the west. Beating the Bulls is nothing special. Well the last I checked the best in the West aren't the teams we have to beat out to get to the playoffs, it's Dallas, Minnesota, Phoenix, and team like that we have to beat out. And your logic is off, because the Rockets hold a win over the defending World Champion Los Angeles Lakers. I don't care if we're 0-500 against the West's best, the Rocks are only 3 games out of the playoffs. And last I checked you didn't reward you more for beating the Lakers and Blazers then they did the Bulls. A win is a win, this is the NBA not the NCAA. ------------------ Dream a deadly Dream. . . Even if they make the 'offs, they will have to play the best in the west. Plus, the April schedule is stacked with tough teams. That is significant. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."
Zrb-We have an easier finishing schedule than Minny, Pho and Dal at least... ------------------ Check out my homepage! Loads of sports pics! http://www.public.asu.edu/~sykim/
ANYTHING can happen in the playoffs. I remember about 3 years ago, I believe Atlanta and Charlotte played, Charlotte was 3-1 against the Hawks, yet the Hawks knocked them out of the playoffs. And last year Toronto was 4-0 against the Knicks and the Knicks swept them. ANYTHING can happen once you get in. ------------------ Dream a deadly Dream. . .
Last I checked, a win against the Bulls counts the same as a win against anybody else (I know i know, except in tie breaking scenarios)...but anyhoo...the point is this game against the bulls is huge - simply because the Rockets need to win a lot of games. so let's not worry about the play-offs just yet - let's concentrate on shutting down the Bulls. A loss against them might do more harm than a win against portland would have done good. Anyway, I think they'll do it - Rockets - 109 Bulls - 87 ------------------ "Segregation is an absolutely horrid practice - except when it comes to numbers and letters. Good point, Valio! If we beat Portland, we could have a huge let down and lose to the Bulls. That would hurt the Rocks confidence more, then losing to the The best team in the league. This way, we play these two games 1-1 no matter what. I am perdicting a huge win on Wed. Rocks-105 DAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
