I honestly don't know how to read all this or how big the ad is, but it looks like for $4,000 we could take out an ad on the Chron voicing our displeasure. So far there are 6,419 people the BBS that have voted the trade as a "Terrible move". If everyone one of us that hated it put one dollar down we could get an ad in the Chron. Again, I don't know the size and this idea is out there, but I hate this trade and I live too far away to riot the Toyota Center. I live in Baltimore but i'm a rockets fan. (Ironically Rudy Gay's home city) I was wondering if the Rockets management has any idea of how mad the fans are? Have they acknowledged it at all? I'm sure you guys have been burning up the local radio stations. Do any of them stream on the Internet? I was so excited to think about a local product playing for my favorite team and I ended up being crushed and angry
I just hope this turns out as well as the Robert Horry pick over Harold Miner. Fans were practically ripping the Summit apart when the Rockets selected Horry. I had more faith in the Rockets brass back then though.
I'm definitely IN. Anything to try to avoid the trade. I keep trying to be ok with it, but when I start thinking about it again, I just get sick to my stomach. Seriously! I met my wife today for lunch and I couldn't even enjoy lunch because of this.
