with all this talk about signing high dollar superstars to our team, why not TAKE A LOOk DOWN the BENCH for the MISSING PIECE or PIECES.....i mean we can go ahead and search for a proven PF and PG but if you look deeper at our bench we got some players with potential----> TMO and BOKI......outta all the players on the bench with the exception of MO, CATO, and RICE...these two have promise in there future roles with the ROX. In both of them we have two long and athletic players who are pretty much versatile in relation to their game.....both can shoot and take it to the basket. They play the game straight and to the point.....no show-boat, circus dribbling, in your face, beat up the other coach, kick the camera guy in the ......well uno wat im tryin to say. So before yall think we need some high-priced superstar to fill our needs just know we got some on that bench of ours.

I agree, I keep on saying that I like the team we have now, and with time we'll be a top contender if we just let chemistry build. Look at Dallas, they had Dirk, Finley and Nash all there for a few years, but they were still at the bottom of the league. But given TIME to build chemistry, they now finished tied for the best record in the NBA.

Good post itzIce, both TMO and Boki are team first oriented guys and Morris has a damn good floor game. I would like to see Morris start at the small forward position next season, I think it would help team chemistry.

How can any of us know what Boki is? I hope you're right, but I sure have no reason to want him playing or dumped. I have hope, but it is blinded by ignorance of him.

It's absolutely true. You could put Julius Erving, Oscar Robertson, and Elvin Hayes out on the floor with Steve and Ming, but as long as four guys stand around while one guy dribbles the ball, the team is going to be average at best.

It's not like it hasn't happened before; for the last few years we have landed very desirable, at least beforehand, value priced, young, on the rise free agents in Maurice Taylor and Shandon Anderson. Then they hit the "stand around and watch" offense and they don't look so hot anymore. I don't understand why so many people fail to see this. As if Elton Brand is going to be so effective when he stands around on the right side of the key watching ming back it in and take a fadeaway from the left low post, or Jamal Crawford sets up at the three point line waiting to hoist an ill advised three that the defense will surely give him.

Actually, Elton Brand could be just the type of guy to fit this offense, he'll clean up the misses and stuff.

Yikes, if that's all we want to get him for, I pity the future of the rockets franchise.

i think boki will really help us out. This is a guy who is use to playing with a dominant center who has more of all around type of game (Him and the Nugget's Tskitishvilli played for years in italy together), other than a power type of game

too bad the guys on our bench wont be there when their contract expires. I wouldnt want to either if I could PLAY somewhere else. I dont doubt that they will exercise their options with other teams. Look at Langi....he is actually on the floor now.
