    @Reeko
    @rocketsjudoka

    love how people called in and were concerned about the dogs instead of the dead intruder

    I’m surprised there wasn’t a wrongful death / injury lawsuit from the thief

    But seriously that's a legitimately sad situation, a terrible way to die at just 21 years old.

    Grown as ****ing adult breaking into someone’s home . It is sad, but so is someone that doesn’t have values or morals

    My belief system is that people have less free will than I think most would imagine. The question I wonder is how much blame do you assign to a person for not having what you would call socially acceptable values/morals. 21 years is an adult but it's still very young, and breaking into a house isn't inherently intent to do violence (although, that may have been the case who knows). In general, I get bummed out for the deaths of people unless their intent is to do violence to others. That includes suicide for example.

    Obviously, his death is not the fault of anybody else, just dogs protecting their home.

    Lots of young people committing crime
    It’s not like a bunch of senior citizens doing home invasions or robbery

    Wouldn’t your instinct if you see pit bulls when you break into someone’s house is to run ?

    Is this really a D&D topic?

    Maybe I'm stating the obvious and the obvious trolling but a lot of these threads in the D&D aren't political or controversial and fit better in the Hangout don't they? (shrug)

    Don’t see a thing about P here
    It’s about CRIME

    If you don’t want to debate animals rights then it’s not the right thread for you

    @Os Trigonum

    "Politics, Religion, Race and other heated topics you wouldn't fire away on in polite conversation."

    Don't see much "heated" about this topic, but see the troll. Never change Tinman! :p

    You can miss, you can be slow on the draw, misfire, get the gun taken from you. If you don't have your gun drawn and aimed and someone is within 20 feet of you, there's only a 5% chance you can shoot them.

    An 80-150lb dog will scare multiple criminals off. If they come to your house scouting and hear that deep 'WOOF' they will pick a different house. The dog won't miss, either.

    No one is arguing against the dog. I just think both are better. IF they shoot the dog, then at least you can avenge his death. Also the dog can warn you of the presence of this person so you have time to drawn and ready. That increases the gun's effectiveness.

    I agree, a dog and a gun is the way to go. But the vote was for one or the other. :D

    So for the smart people on this section like you
    You see the true humor in the epidemic of crime and defund the police
    @TheresTheDagger @Andre0087
    Justice was served by dogs

    If the home owner or cops had pulled a gun and shot this dude, that wouldn’t be a feel good story

    But everyone loves dogs
