Meh. It's Taco Bell, I go there for the 5 layer burrito, not the urban asthetic. I imagine these will be niche locations that won't fare well.
As if Tbell didn't already cause the runs... Mixing booze with it and people are gonna brew up some extra nasty stuff.
I thought that's where you're supposed to go only AFTER you're done drinking (and lost any sense of self worth).
Hopefully not in the drive-thru or for the same set of operating hours. Large fast food chains seemed to take pride in their operating models and processes: bringing in significantly more expensive, pre-fabricated goods seems to belie that premise. There seem to be a lot of loss prevention and underage delinquency risks with this.
It's only being sold to customers who eat at theb restaurant. Who sits down at fast food restaurants? I think it will catch on. Taco Cabana has been doing this forever with wine based margaritas (boo).
It's happening! <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xFiDoOgRTpk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Except I don't see tons of people going to sports bars after getting drunk ... Taco Bell is the holy land of the wasted. Now they've got a 2-in-1 by going there. I'm sure the college crowd will be thankful for cheap food and drinks.
I remember when the Two Pesos on Westheimer and Potomac sold booze, that was a pretty sweet deal when you were 16. Now? I don't see the appeal.
Taco Bell and Jack in the Box should turn into smoke shops whenever they decide to make weed legal.........
