If I'm getting a tablet, I want an OS that's designed for a tablet. They better put WebOS on something like that.
really? i think the same could be said about every other manufacturer. the envy line doesn't do much for you?
I've heard on a couple of occasions and from one gentleman who works at HP and got to mess with one a while back that this product was horrible. Perhaps they worked out the kinks since then? It's cool for sure. It's just one of their all in one touchscreen desktops just smaller.
What I know about HP Laptops/Tablets is that in my experience, they die far, far more than any other brand.
I'm actually like WebOs apparently HP did too. Don't get me wrong I also like my macbook and touch but It's stops there.
WebOS is a very robust platform. Unfortunately getting to run on Intel architecture is still a work in progress. My guess is that the next revision of the HP Slate could use an ARM-based TI OMAP4 or Qualcomm Snapdragon with WebOS.
I'm not keen on it running full Win7 unless it's packing impressive hardware for a tablet. Netbooks have a hard enough time running anything above XP.
