Better to have Wolves lose. If we don't catch them, then losing ground to Nugs makes no difference.

I think we gotta go with the Nugs...Rockets have some control on keeping them behind them...but Minnesota's fate depends upon their own play...So I'll have the faith in the Rockets to go for the Nuggets...

Nuggets definitely. Let's get the 8th spot and worry about defending it. At least we can talk about the playoffs while we're number 8.

Minnesota plays Denver on Friday. Who do we root for in this one? I would say Minnesota since they are the team to catch, but after a win against L.A. last night, Denver isn't too far behind us. I think I feel better about keeping some distance between us, Denver, and Seattle for the time being while hovering around 3 games out of the 8th spot. We can look to close that gap when Minnesota hits their stretch of tough games. I guess we benefit no matter who wins. What do you guys think?

Suns lost tonight too...If Minnesota loses we're just TWO games behind for the final playoff spot...

On a side note, the Bucks' record is good for 2nd in the east, but that record would be a SEVENTH seed in the West...what a joke..

Without a doubt, we have to root for Denver tomorrow!! Minnesota is the team we have to catch, and if Denver wins tomorrow, the Nuggets will still be behind the Rockets in the standings. GO DENVER!!

damn, i was just coming here to make this same thread. the nuggets will be out tonight to win a game for the rockets.

"We defintely need to win and build off that Lakers game," McDyess said, "but more importantly we need to win this game for the Rockets"

Ok he didnt really say that, but we BOTH need and want the win tonight [IMG]

I knew deep down you guys liked us.

I was wondering when you would come back NugzFan! [IMG] Weren't you calling us crazy for saying we could leap frog over Seattle, Denver and Minnesota? Well we're 2/3rds of the way there! [IMG] Definitely root for the Nugs, they are the one with the playoff spot, the ones we're chasing. The Nuggets are something like 2 games behind the Rocks so the Rocks control their own fate there.

The Wolves are dismantling Denver, 45-35. Terrible news.

The Rockets just need to keep winning, thats all. Lets not worry about the Wolves, yet. There is still alot of basketball to be played.

Anyways, 10 points is not a monumental task to over come, Denvers certainly capable. And if not, it's no big deal. Minnesota is about to embark on a hellish east coast road trip, so will see what happens then.
