The T-Wolves' schedule gets a little bit tougher the next ten games. It's not as tough as I'd like, but it's still better than the pansy first ten games the Puppies have enjoyed with their best-in-West 9-1 record.

24 Sat San Antonio 7:00 pm FSN --
    27 Tue @ Seattle 9:00 pm -- --
    28 Wed @ L.A. Clippers 9:30 pm FSN --
    Dec 1 Sat @ L.A. Lakers 9:30 pm FOX29 --
    4 Tue Seattle 7:00 pm -- --
    6 Thu @ Memphis 7:00 pm FOX29 --
    8 Sat Houston 7:00 pm FSN --
11 Tue Golden State 7:00 pm FSN --
    12 Wed @ Utah 8:00 pm FOX29 --

Finally, they start facing some Western Conference teams. I predict they'll still play well, but that they won't be cruising like they've been. I'm saying now with confidence that the T-Wolves are not all that. Joe Smith Shmo Schmith. Chemistry, blah, blah. The Wolves may be better this year, but I argue their improvement comes mostly from the decline of teams like Portland and Utah. I see the Wolves finishing the regular season between 4th and 6th in the West. As for the next ten games, 5-5. When they meet on Dec. 8th, Houston will be within two games of Minnesota and the Rockets will show them up in their house behind a solid performance by Steve or Cuttino and lights-out shooting by Walt or Rice. What say you?

    (record after these games: 13-7)

They get trampled so bad by Houston that they are disoriented from then on.
