this was under the FACTS part...

"Part of Tracy's deal with the Rockets is that he has his own jet."

I knew he had his own plane, but I didnt know that it was for team games... I would be a little disapointed if he is never on the plane with our team... Didnt we just read that he made the "team flight" to play in the new orleans game?? ANYONE know the truth???

Hmmm, I'm not sure if that is true or not. It doesn't seem right. According to the recent SI article on him he just got the jet about 3 or 4 weeks ago.

I will say not true because I read an ESPN article where Mac clearly stated that he bought the jet per the advice of his manager. His manager adviced him that he would be saving money by buying it (complicated maths) so he went ahead and purchased it with his money thereby becoming the first NBA player to ever own one. He even joke that he might have started a new culture where others would want to be like him and go out and guy theirs.

It is a white Falcon and the inscription on the tail is T 1 Mac if I recall correctly.

maybe steve's request to not go on the TEAM PLANE for the superbowl may not have been so odd

He is still flying with the team and will continue to do so. The jet isn't for that stuff. It is for (as someone mentioned) family and for personal trips.
