The way that 2nd video appears upon page load with TMac's eyes is kinda scary...

Judging from the interview, it looks like T-mac and Adelman are genuinely on the same page.

Sounded to me like he wanted Adelman dead and to eat his children with some A-1. You didn't get that? I did.

T-mac admitted to messing up the chemistry last year - pretty incredible admission.

TMac interviews are the best. Dude just doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut when it comes to stupid statements.

T-Mac is handling his limited playing time situation surprisingly really well, it's respectable.

Should of been 2-4 tonight, when he starts finishing well again, he will be a really good player.

"If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way."

    - Bertrand Russell

You were just acting according to instinct apparently... :)

"We'll see how the couple games go"
"We agreed to that and I was fine with that"
"Kinda' messed up the chemistry...I didn't want to be a part of that this year so...you know, I was down for whatever, just to get better"
    "I gotta be patient"

Thanks as always Clutch. For someone who can't wait to see Tmac shipped out, you seem to be doing more for him than even the most ardent fanboys here in the forum :p

His passing abilities are really what we'll find most useful, and he's been passing great the last few games, others just haven't finished (e.g., Andersen's missed 5-footer). I think the dude can help us so long as he doesn't take such a large chunk of the scoring load and puts more effort into creating shots for other players.

Man, sometimes I wish TMac would just not say anything at all. At the very least I wish reporters would call him on comments that seem contradictory to things he's said in the past, so that at least he could see how confusing he is and make clear what he really means.

These two statements have me baffled:

    1. "I'm not even supposed to be playing right now..."
Whattt??? Does he realize how that sounds from the guy who's been telling everybody who'd listen that he's been ready to play for weeks , but the big bad Rockets won't let him? Why can't he just clearly say "I'm way ahead of where we originally thought I'd be"...if that's what he meant?

    2. "it's a contract season for me, so we gotta think about that, too"
OK, so once and for all (or at least for this week  ), why were you so anxious to come back? Cause you're healthy, cause you wanna help the team, cause you just wanna blend in with the chemistry, or to earn another big contract???

tracy looks great in adelman's offense. he's nearly as good off the catch and shoot as cbud and he's coming off a major surgery. the last missed layup should be a dunk or a better finish once he gets more reps. he looks EXTREMELY active offensively. i'm continued to be impressed at how well he moves.

defensively, tracy just has to stop helping so much b/c he's not recovering quick enough to his man. that's not due to poor effort, but he's not in sync with the team defensively. hopefully he can continue to get better on that end.

another good step towards returning to where he should be.

and don't look at his stats. he moved great again today. hopefully adelman saw the same.

not to diss ariza, and i'm not into reading body language, but his is just awful recently. everytime a teammate does something bad, he just throws his arms up like the last few seconds of the clip.

    Thanks again Clutch. :)

McGrady looked ok though he seemed less aggressive offensively than the night before vs. the Clips. Last night he seemed intent on punishing the defense; tonight, not so much. Still, he seems to be moving pretty well.

BTW this was McGrady's sixth game back and therefore the last game of the alleged evaluation period. Adelman said he'd evaluate McGrady after this stretch and figure out how to incorporate him into the team. His minutes will probably increase as well.

I actually took his comment to mean "nobody expected me to be back this early". He even gave the example of others taking much longer to come back from similar injuries/operations. The clue was he stated this along with the fact that he'd been working his butt off in the off-season... the end result was he's playing ahead of schedule.

I could give you this one, but it's not like everyone doesn't already know it's the man's contract season and he needs to play well. But yeah, adding that probably wasn't the brightest thing to do.

TMac forgot to talk about his coaching of Ariza/hidden agenda. If Trevor plays like garbage, then maybe some more minutes might open up for McGrady.

Did anyone else notice Ariza looked dangerously similar to McGrady with those back-to-back step-inside-the-three-point-line jumpshots?

Maybe the number 1 is cursed.
