They haven't come on yet, but they will be on. Yao and T-Mac have apparently just walked in on this "player availability" day for the media.

As soon as they come on (I am not sure when), I will recap, promise!;)

<<sidenote>> Shawn Marion has no sense of humor, apparently, he took that comment about his shot being "ugly" a bit seriously I think. It was a joke, man!

Yeah, and what's up with Amare's "San Antonio is the most surprising opponent team"?

Yao - "He saved my EAR by winning that game..." (Speaking about the spurs game).

Maybe the english isn't all the way there yet... (or maybe it is, and he's just too damn witty).

Yeah, I think he meant the long speech he would've got from JVG if that had lost that game.

Probably because San Antonio came back from something like 18 points down in the 4th quarter to beat the Suns in Phoenix.

One of his ears is not functional well and Yao was making fun of himself in indicating that if we had lost the game, JVG would have shouted so loudly that Yao would be totally deaf.;)

    Alright, here we go...

Aldridge: We have a couple of all-stars from the Rocket, T-Mac and Yao. Yao are you excited to be here again?

Yao: Of course, I am excited about the vote and thank the fans.

Aldridge: Now that you have a new teammate, excited for him too?

T-Mac (looking at Yao): You betta be!:)

Yao: He is not new right now, we already played 50 games together (jokingly says it).

Aldridge: For you Tracey, coming over in the trade from Orlando, which was a news in itself, but then coming to a team with Yao?

T-Mac: Actually, it has been a great adjustment for me, I defer to him at times to relieve pressure off me scoring wise, and he has been doing a great job of relieving that pressure off me.

Aldridge: Before the season started, we had China games, so T-Mac, can anybody who has not been on this trip to China, understand what this man means to his country?

T-Mac (laughing): no, not at all. If anybody has ever seen the Beatles, Jay-Z, Brad Pitt, all those guys together, that is him.

Aldridge to Yao: How has that been for you Yao?

    Yao: no choice (laughing)

Aldridge: T-Mac, coming in you know you will be playing for one of the toughest coaches in the league, how has it been playing for JVG?

T-Mac: You know what, he just wants you to be prepared coming into the game, he is precise about everything, everything! But he is a great teacher, he is a great motivator, I have never been more prepared coming into each game.

Aldridge: when we go back to the Spurs game, Yao, your teammate scores 13 points in 35 seconds to win the game. Yao, what was it like watching that happen?

Yao: It is amazing, you know. At that time I just wanted to go home, go to sleep, and then wake up in the morning and see coach yellin gat us (smiling), he saved us, he saved our ears (from the yelling)

Aldridge: T-Mac, again, one game does not mean the season or anything, but again, do you really appreciate yet what you did in that game?

T-Mac: (reluctantly) I guess you have no choice, when I did it I did not realize what I just did, and it took me a couple of times to watch that on SportsCenter to realize what I did. Again, you take me in the GYM and put 35 seconds on teh clock, I don't think I can duplicate that.

Aldridge: It was unbelievable! So what do you two need to do in the 2nd half of the season to make sure the Rockets are where they need ot be at?

Yao: To do whatever we are doing right now, we got better in the last 20-25 games, and we are playing the right way, we just need to do the same thing and prepare for every game.

Aldridge: last Q, you guys deserve being here as all-stars, but again the Bob Suras, the Jon Barrys...

T-Mac: It is very important, and these guys are doing their jobs, they are the reason we are playing well, they are the reason we are on a 8-game winning streak. They are professionals, those guys come to play every night, and they have the mental toughness to keep us in the game, and we trust them to bring it every night.

Aldridge: Alright, Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady All-Stars, thanks for being with NBATV, and enjoy it, ok?

I don't think anyone has to shout anymore. I noticed that Yao wore an ear piece or rather "hearing aid" in the last game against Washington. Did anyone else notice it?
