I did not see the other post. I'm thinking if there was any T-Mac on the block deal rumor going around it would be Micheal Redd and Damon Jones. Jones i think is from Houston and Jefferson was drafted by Houston. It would not suprise me if their was a Houston/Milwaukee blockbuster move. It would not suprise me if all 3 end up in Houston.
I kinda like the McGrady for Redd+filler move i think Redd fits Adelman much better with his system. I hear rumors Sessions is a good player.
lolz i know. I like this trade alot !! McGrady, Alston, Hayes for Redd, Villaueva (expiring), Sessions (expiring), Jones (expiring). Charlie can be Yao back up at center with range and Sessions and Jones can fill in nicely. This looks better next season when we have more room to resign Artest. Yao/Villaueva Scola/Landry Artest/Battier Redd/Barry/Head Brooks/Sessions/Jones This line up looks more fluid imo. Sessions a prospect PG only in his 2nd year just like Brooks.
For real the Yao/Redd inside out game would be unstopable. Then we have 2 perimeter defenders Artest and Battier. Then we have 2 up and coming PG's Brooks and Sessions. We would still have Scolandry and we just added Charlie. I think it's the best T-Mac deal out there if that rumor was true. How can we snag Jefferson? Yao Artest Jefferson Redd We dont need that many i like Yao/Artest/Redd ball movement trio better.
I admit i seen enough of the compalining and "IT's on me" short tales the last few years and Yao's injury last season should not cut any slack. I agree with the video i don't think he is mentally there for 82 games like a paid profesional athlete trying to win a championship. Besides the injuries all i ever hear anymore is he is sore? So if they are trying to win a championship should they keep players who complain and let that rub off on the team? I would do that trade in a heartbeat.
No way, terrible trade. Michael Redd is good but not Tmac good. Besides if you do your research you'd see the disgruntled relationship betwee Villanueva and the head coach. He is a headcase. You have to factor in everything. Plus, Sessions is decent but he is not the difference maker in order to make a run at the championship. He is actually struggling this year to even get minutes, on the BUCKS.
I think what they're saying in the the video is the Rockets are "open to trading" McGrady if another teams calls and makes an offer but they're not calling and shopping McGrady themselves. In the last week or so Les has said said: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/hotstories/6170131.html Nobody wants McGrady's bad contract. Reading between the lines I'd speculate unless the Suns call up and offer Steve Nash for McGrady the Rockets won't be trading him.
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...45~2834~532&teams=10~10~10~10~13~13&te=&cash= Houston Rockets Incoming Players: Lamar Odom(expiring contract), Sasha Vujacic, Vladimir Radmanovic Outgoing Players: Tracy McGrady, Chuck Hayes Rockets get 2 great 3 point shooters and a temporary "borderline all-star" forward who's a huge expiring contract.(he plays well against David West, Dirk and Boozer.. the guys who give the rockets the most trouble)
I'm done with T-Mac,wherever he goes,I don't wanna follow his bull**** any more! How the hell could he just ask for the rest on the bench when the game was on the line and we needed him badly that moment. No matter how much I hate the Fakers, but this one is doable if they agree to the deal.
as an Aside why is it when a player and a coach are not getting along we immediately think it is the player's fault? Rocket River
No way. We consider Tracy soft, and we'll trade him for 3 more softees. No thanks. I'd definitely trade for Redd though. The actual ball movement we'd be looking for would be there. All the 3s he'd get here from Yao. And plus we'd have to get in some fillers and possibly a 1st round pick.
Trading T-Mac THIS YEAR for expiring contracts will not help the Rockets that much. While it will definitely open up some cap room this summer, if the Rockets want to keep Artest and add another star, it will not be enough cap room. The Rockets are so far over the salary cap that trading even T-Mac's enormous salary will not give them the room to sign another max salary player. Artest's cap hold this summer will be over $11M until he is signed, and I imagine that he'll get at least around that much on the open market. If the Rockets were to trade T-Mac, it probably would not be until next year, when T-Mac will be a large expiring contract himself (with more value) and the Rockets could get some real building blocks in exchange for him. Tracy's performance in the Cavs game was a major disappointment for Rockets fans (man, that breakaway-that-never-was was a real downer), but now is not the time to trade Tracy. The Rockets will not get equal value, even for a broken-down T-Mac.
This shows the level of frustration at the level of wankerness of Tim Legler.. he knows wat he's talking about...
